VOL. 22 NO. 1 - January 2019
His experience demonstrated that some years would be difficult for one reason or another, but over time the cooperative could succeed if the board would maintain a principled approach. He could always find the key numbers in the monthly financial reports at the cooperative which would explain why the financial performance was doing well or not so well, and he would challenge the general manager and staff to explain things well.
Terry was known to be a person with very high personal energy. He started each day with his routine checklist to get his Marcell store, Frontier Sports, open for the business day. He then shifted his attention to his realty business. He made time for his North Itasca Electric responsibilities and numerous other activities including the state realtorsí association, his beehives, fishing, hunting and others. He had a wonderful sense of humor and could laugh readily at the jokes provided by himself or others in the conversation. He had the marvelous ability to see the good qualities in other people.
We members of the North Itasca Electric Cooperative express our sorrow at his passing and thank him in our memories for his many years of great service to the cooperative.
