She was surprised to find how close-knit everyone was. “It was nice to actually have a small town feel,” she said. “It amazed me how welcoming everybody was in such a small community.”

In her job, she will be the first point of contact with members. Her background includes some college accounting and job experience in office work. In her new career setting, she’s learning the ins and outs of how everything works, she explained, including setting up new accounts.

“The staff is very friendly and welcoming,” she said. “It seems like they are very willing to help out and answer any question I or a member may have.”
