4 School resumes, all schools except Blackduck
4 Bloodmobile at Bigfork Valley. Call 743-4249 for appointments.
4 Deer River school board meets at high school, 6 p.m. (5:45 public comment)
5 North Country Gardeners meet at the Marcell Family Center, 6:30 p.m. with a potluck dinner.
5 Blackduck School resumes
7 "Story Telling Evening" starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Marcell Town Hall, All ages are welcome, coffee and treats are served.
8 Evergreen Friendship Club meets for potluck, business and entertainment at Sand Lake Community Center, noon For more info, call 659-2683
8-10 White Oak Dog Sled Classic. Races start 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at White Oak Fur Post in Deer River and pass through Northome, Effie, Bigfork, Marcell. Friday night spaghetti feed 3-7:30 p.m., Saturday pancake breakfast 6-9:30 a.m. at White Oak, opening ceremonies 9:30 a.m.
9 Winter Frolic at Marcell Family Center, noon- 4 p.m. Indoor and outdoor activities with hay rides, storytelling, crafts, games, lunch, beverages. Call tim at 832-3161 or 832-3444 for more information.
10 Marcell Family Center hosts pancake feed, 9 a.m.-noon; 10- and 8-dog Pro White Oak Classic awards ceremony, noon
10 EAA chapter meets at Bowstring Airport. Fly-ins encouraged, open to the public. Potluck or grilled meal depending on weather.
11 Women of the Woods meet at 10 a.m. at Sand Lake Community Center. Call Connie Vesey at 659-4669
11 Northome School Board meets, 7 p.m., high school ITV room
11 VFW meets in Bigfork second Monday at 7 p.m.
12 "Stop & Stitch" quilting group meets at Marcell Family Center from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. For more info, call Judy at 832-3237 or Rhonda at 832-3597
12-15 Snow Week at Blackduck School; Friday: Pepfest 3:45 p.m., dance 8:30-11:30 p.m.
13 Northome School PTO meets 3:30 p.m.
13 Park Theater Memorial Classic Movie Series, Jeremiah Johnson (1972) starring Robert Redford and Will Gere, 6:30 p.m. at the Edge Center, Bigfork. Free and open to the public.
14 Parents in Education (PIE) meets at King School, 5:30 p.m.
15 Lake Country Seniors meet at noon, Marcell Town Hall. Pot luck lunch and usually program. All area people over 50 are welcome.
18 Homecoming week for Northome High School
18 Bigfork Lions Club meets third Monday, 6 p.m. at Huskie Cafe. Info, call 743-6142
22 Deer River schools early out; 1 p.m. King, 1:15 p.m. high school
