1 Open House Day at Scenic State Park; free admission, interpretive programs, lunch available.
2 Deer River School Board, 5:45 p.m. (community forum), 6 p.m. (meeting)
3 Baby Steps Boutique open at Bigfork School the first Tuesday of the month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Special orders can be placed at 743-3444 ext. 2529 or rsteinhart@dist318.org
3 North Country Gardeners meet at 4 p.m. at the Marcell Family Center to replant the flower bed. Pot luck at 6 p.m. Stephanie Stevens will speak on Memory gardens at 7 p.m. Informal meeting later in the month to view tulip garden.
7 Take a Kid Fishing Day at Round Lake/Squaw Lake Community Center
7 Dance to The Pretenders and Friends, 50s and 60s music at the Squaw Lake Community Center, 7-11 p.m., cash bar Fundraiser for the Fire Department.
8 EAA meets at Bowstring airport, 3 p.m.
9 Women of the Woods meet at 10 a.m. All women in the Sand Lake area welcome! Call Connie Vesey at 659-4669 for information.
9 Squaw Lake City Council meets 7 p.m. in Community Center. All welcome
9 Blackduck School Board meets, 6:30 p.m.

9 VFW meets in Bigfork second Monday at 7 p.m.
9-19 College for Kids at Itasca Community College. Interesting classes on a variety of skills, crafts, art and technology. Call 327-4465 for more information.

12 Eagleview Community Foundation, 6:30 p.m. Eagleview School, all welcome.
13 Crazy Days in Northome; turtle races at senior center, 10 a.m., minnow races on Main street, 2 p.m., sidewalk sales, discounts at Northwoods Craft.
14 Take a Kid Fishing at Clubhouse Lake.
