Along with a variety of plants, two wildflower and grass seed mixtures are being offered. An upland mixed height mixture includes 23 species of native wildflowers and 6 species of grasses. A wetland edge mix for seeding in wetlands, lake or river edges, depressions and other moist locations includes 16 species of wildflowers and 9 species of grass, sedge and bulrush.
A number of edible berry shrubs are offered including high-bush cranberry, nannyberry, American Spikenard (root beer flavored berries edible right off the stem), American plum, chokecherry, blackberry, red raspberry and Juneberry. Wild flowers, grasses, sedges and more shrubs and trees are included; a list is boxed to the right.
This year some trees are being offered as 2 and 3 year old stock as well as seedlings. The cost for the older trees is $14 per 10 tree unit; seedlings are sold for $10 per tree unit.
Shrubs are available for $20 for 5 shrubs, each in a 4 inch pot. Wildflowers, grasses and sedges cost $6 per four pack of containerized plugs. Seed mixtures are priced at $20 per half pound bag. Tree shelters and deer repellent are also available to order.
