6 The White Oak Classic dog sled race has been canceled because of weather. See News Release. This was the registration deadline for White Oak Classic dog sled race.
8 Deer River School Board meets 6 p.m., high school library
8 Women of the Woods meet at the Sand Lake Community Center at 10 a.m. All women in the area welcome! WOW meets the second and fourth Mondays.
9 Early release, Bigfork, Eagleview schools
9 Northome PTO meets, 7 p.m. in library
9 “Stop & Stitch” quilting group meets at Marcell Family Center from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Bring your supplies, $1 and a sack lunch. For more info, call Judy at 832-3237 or Rhonda at 832-3597
10 Classic Movie showing at Bigfork Valley Villa commons hosted by Jack Nachbar, 6:30 p.m. See The Band Wagon (1953). Free and open to the public.
10 Northome School Board meets, 8 p.m.
12 “Go the Distance” fund raiser dinner for the Bigfork School track complex, Huskie Cafe, 4-7 p.m. Freewill offering.

13 Children First! holiday events at the White Oak Fur Post just north of Deer River on Highway 6, 1-4 p.m. Hay rides, sled dog rides, old-fashioned music, treats and hot beverages.
13 Bigfork School hosts an 8th grade boys basketball tournament, 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
16 ISD 318 school board meets; agenda item is Eagleview conversion to charter school status, 7:30 p.m. Administrative Services Building
19 No school; Deer River, North, Eagleview, Bigfork schools
21 Second annual Polar Revue at the Edge Center in Bigfork, 3 p.m. Come see your friends and neighbors share their talents.
22 Women of the Woods meet at Sand Lake Community Center at 10 a.m. All area women welcome!
22 Bigfork Lions Club meets the third Monday at 6 p.m. at the Husky Cafe. New members welcome. For more information, call Laurel Laudert at 743-6142
23 Northwoods Quilters meet at Marcell Town Hall, 9 a.m. Free and open to everyone. Potluck lunch, afternoon session continues to about 3.
