If you would like, send me a copy of your bill and I will figure out the difference from what you are paying now and what you would be paying with us. You might be very surprised at the difference.

Remember you don’t have to be a member to sign up for N.I.C.E. long distance service and it doesn’t matter what state you are in any one can sign up. Our rates are low at 8.9 cents a minute if you are calling within the state and 7.9 cents a minute if you are calling outside the state. There is no monthly fee and no sign up charge from us. (Your local carrier might charge you a fee to switch, most companies charge a one time switching fee of $5.00.)

We offer no hidden charges; if you do not make any calls you will not receive a bill. Calls are billed in a 16 second increment for the connection of the call and in 6-second increments after that. Most long distance companies round calls to the nearest minute, making your call cost you more then it should.

We also offer calling cards at no extra charge and the rates on the calling cards are 13.9 cents a minute. Another service are 800 numbers with or without a 4-digit PIN, and there is no extra charge to set it up. The rates on the 800 numbers are the same as our regular calling rate: 7.9-out of state and 8.9 in state. An 800 number is nice if you are away and need to call home. This is a great feature if you have a child away from home or at college that you would like to hear from. They can’t use the excuse that they cannot afford to call home, since you’re paying for the call.

Sign-up is easy all you have to do is fill out a simple application. The application takes only a couple of minutes to fill out and is well worth your time when you consider the savings. The application can be picked up at the Co-op., taken out of the WATTS NEWS, or it can be printed off our web site www.northitascaelectric.com.
