A large cooperative has the resources to have in-house specialists in most fields; here in a small cooperative we sometimes have to rely on the services of outside professionals. The Board of Directors should be commended on allowing us to seek the outside expertise when needed. Many times we can rely on another Co-op. for help.

Being Staff Assistant I get the opportunity to work with all the departments here at the co-op, as well as with the CEO, Board of Directors and you the consumers. One day is never the same as the next. There are new developments happening all the time, whether it is a computer that’s acting up, a customer stopping in or calling with a questions or comment, Board mailings needing to go out, etc. It’s a very exciting and challenging job.

I also oversee the Merchandising Department, Long Distance and Wildblue operations. Roxanne Prather, my Sales Associate, does a great job at keeping the Merchandising and Long Distance services running smoothly. She also puts in a tremendous amount of work preparing for our Open Houses and making them a success. Thank you, Roxanne!

In summation, you the member/owners have a dedicated and hardworking team, from the Board of Directors on down, that strives to deliver the best power quality, products and services while being very mindful of the costs involved in our operations.
