Norstone Readymix set to open in Northome

When Kevin Knaeble chose to wear his Minnesota jacket to the auction near Winnipeg, he didn’t realize what an important decision it was.
He was there to bid on a readymix cement plant, a new business he had decided to work toward starting in Northome.

Marcell heads list of road projects

This is the summer for Marcell.
Each year sections of the Edge of the Wilderness National Scenic Byway which runs from Effie to Grand Rapids have been reconstructed. This year is the year for the Marcell streetscape.

With our 8.9 cents a minute if you are calling within the state and 7.9 cents a minute if you are calling outside the state, 16 second increment billing on a connected call and every 6 seconds thereafter and with no monthly fees you can’t go wrong! Our customers stop me on the street to tell me how happy they are since they switched. It’s nice to know everyone is more than satisfied with the service.
