North Itasca Electric Cooperative, Inc.'s Energy Smart Wholesale Buying Club for members
The Energy Smart Wholesale Buying Club has been active in other co-ops including Lake Country Power, where it originated. The program is specifically for co-op members and utilizes existing independent local contractors that are trained and certified on the products offered through the wholesale buying club.
We will be adding many more products to offer our members during the months and years ahead, all focused on saving you money with Energy Smart products for your home. Future products will include plenum heaters, electric boilers, duct free air source heat pumps, Marathon water heaters and many more.
How to use the Buying Club:
Our Energy Smart Wholesale Buying Club is simply a phone call away. Here’s how it works:
Step 1:
Call the Energy Smart Wholesale Buying Club at 1 (877) 534-9332 for information on buying products of interest.
Step 2:
The Buying Club describes product choices and available rebates for each product and provides you with a list of local installation contractors that are trained to do the work
Step 3:
Member then calls one or several of the contractors and schedules an appointment.
(Contractor comes to home to determine the correct equipment size, placement, and total price including the cost of the equipment and installation charges.)
Step 4:
Co-op member selects a contractor and schedules the installation.
Step 5:
Co-op member fills out rebate form mails to the Energy Smart Wholesale Buying Club and receives the rebate directly from the Energy Smart Wholesale Buying Club.
